Hello folks,
I miss everybody and shooting at C&B Archery for the meetups.
My new schedule at work starts this April 6th and I will have Sat.-Sundays off.
Now I can shoot with you at C&B or any other place that maybe scheduled.
I ordered and should be receiving my new compound target bow (Hoyt) within the next two weeks.
This coming Friday will be five weeks, I was told it will take about six-seven weeks.

On April 12th, I will be taking the NAA Certified Instructors Leval 1 Basic Course up in Foxboro, Mass.
During the month of May, I will also be taking the NAA Certified Leval 2 Intermidiate Course at the same location.
Once I become a Certified Instructor, my services will be "Free".
I will never charge a fee, because I want to help promote this great sport of Archery.
Take care,
Eddie Eng "WoodbowEddie"

Hi Eddie,

That's so exciting that you will be becoming a Certified instructor! Believe it or not back in 2001 I was one too when I briefly worked for the Girls Scouts as an archery instructor for a camp upstate. hahaha

Anyway I'll look forward to seeing you in April!

:)Paola

Hello Paola,
Great to hear from you, and your wonderfull time helping out the Girl Scouts back in 2001.
The reason why I'm going for these classes are, is to help others.
When I first started archery back in 1992, I had no help from anybody.
I drove to various archery ranges and pro shops to learn as much as I can.
At the time, I did not own a computer or knew anything about the internet.
There was no "Meetup" groups like this one around to help me gain info about this sport.
Many archery ranges charge a lot of money for lessons from a Certified Instructor, and C&B Archery is not the only place.
As I mentioned before, my services are free, I'm not doing it for the money.
I understand that ranges have, overhead operation cost and they must charge.
The money that a person saves on lessons can be used towards buying their own equipment
I will only help persons who ask me for help, I will not push the issue on anyone.
This idea of a Meetup group is fabulous, and the Organizer "Deidre"is second to none.......
she does a fantastic job on keeping the wheels in motion.
When I first joined the Meetup group, I suggested that some members become Certified Instructors.
After I get certified as a Level 2 Instructor, I will speak to Deidre about becoming a Level 1 Basic Instructor.
This Level 2 Certification, allows me to certify Level 1 Instructors.
As per NAA, I can give a class to certify Level 1 Instructors.
I'll see you at the range, take care,
Eddie Eng
