Meeting Description
Who
- This is our monthly trip to C&B and all members are encouraged to enjoy all the space and amenities this wonderful establishment has to offer.
Why
- It is a perfect opportunity to receive hands on training and enjoy the company and friendship of other members. Also, April is the icky tax month of the year and archery is a perfectly legal and relaxing way to work out all that stress.

Here we go!
Hicksville logistics:
1. This entire event should not cost you more than $36 (assuming you're doing 2 hours of shooting, $43.50 if you shoot all day and own your own equipment):
* $13.50 round-trip, Off-Peak LI
* $20 to shoot all day, or shoot by the hour. PLEASE, make sure to mention when you pay for range time you are shooting with the NYC Archery Group to get the CLUB ONLY rate of: $7 First Hour, $5 each additional hour
* NEW: To Rent Equipment: $9 per rental, per hour for CLUB ONLY or $20 for equipment rental + $20 for lane rental to shoot ALL DAY.
* $2 for transportation from the Hicksville Station (by member car)
* $10 round trip ($5/trip) to and from Hicksville Station by cab for single passenger or $7 for two or more passengers.
2. We will make arrangements TWO WEEKS before the event for car service from Queens and Brooklyn to the range for people who need a ride.
3. To get to Hicksville from Penn Station you can catch the Port Jefferson or Greenport line.
4. AS PER ALL OUR EVENTS, please RSVP by 3 PM the day before so that you receive the FINAL DETAILS email that provides you with ALL DETAILS regarding the event including important contact numbers.

Deidre the organizer went above and beyond the call of duty in setting me up with the right equipment and working with me on my form and shooting. She took time away from her own shooting to help me (a beginner), which was enormously thoughtful and greatly appreciated. It was lots of fun to get to know Deidre and meet some of the other members of the group. I'm eagerly looking forward to the next Archery event!"
