Introduction:

"Archery Rocks and you could too..."

Archery is a sport that requires practice and discipline, and we meet regularly to fulfill these requirements. If you cannot attend an event at least ONCE every 60 days, do you understand your membership will be discontinued?

"Hmmm.... Ohio to NYC once a month might be tough, but I think I'm okayed by the powers that be..."

How did you find out about the NYC Archery Meetup Group?

"Can't remember now, I think online?"

Tell us about your archery experience. Never shot before? Tell us your expectations.

"I got into archery at summer camp as a kid, and re-sparked my interest in 2004 when I joined this club. I'm now an honorary member of NYC Archery after moving to Ohio last fall, and I have yet to go shooting here. I'm sure it'll be scary when I do!!"

A large part of the value in joining our group is socializing and learning from other archers. Can you tell us what you hope to get out of joining our archery club?

"Now I expect to use the club to keep me motivated when I am archery slacking out here in the heartland. Maybe I'll get to starting up a club here!?!"

As a group, we have ambitions for travel and expansion; corporate sponsorship and a shooting space of our own. As a member of the club, what developments would you like to see?

"I'll just be interested to see where you guys take the club in the future."
