Introduction:

"My name is Eddie Eng and I drive a bus for the NYC Transit Authority. I was born and raised in NY, and grew up in the lower eastside (chinatown). Currently living in Elmhurst Queens since 1973."

Archery is a sport that requires practice and discipline, and we meet regularly to fulfill these requirements. If you cannot attend an event at least ONCE every 60 days, do you understand your membership will be discontinued?

How did you find out about the NYC Archery Meetup Group?

"My shooting partner (lady friend) and I were shooting at C&B Archery, that's where she found your group info."

Tell us about your archery experience. Never shot before? Tell us your expectations.

"I started shooting compound and wood bows (Traditional) since 1992. Currently, I still shoot compounds but prefer woodbows . I am a member of the following archery organizations; NY Bowhunters, United Bowhunters of PA, Trad.Archers of New Jersey. "

A large part of the value in joining our group is socializing and learning from other archers. Can you tell us what you hope to get out of joining our archery club?

"The satisfaction of watching this great sport grow with the increase of new members. "

As a group, we have ambitions for travel and expansion; corporate sponsorship and a shooting space of our own. As a member of the club, what developments would you like to see?

"Some of our members become "Certified Archery Instructors". This club, be a member of or recognized by a National Archery Organization. By being a recognized club, this will carry alot of "weight". "

"Currently, I am trying to get information on becoming a Certified Archery Instructor, it is my understanding that the course is several days. "
